Philippines Tour: 2010 Project

 

Departure from Zaventem on Monday, October 4, 2010, at 10:20 p.m., arrival in Abu Dhabi at 7:00 a.m., with a 3-hour layover. Departure from Abu Dhabi on Tuesday at 10:15 a.m., arrival in Manila at 11:10 p.m. Heading to Laguna.

October 6 and 7 will likely be spent getting ready for the vacation and exploring Laguna. The next day, we plan to spend a day with Marlon’s family, throw a big party in the barrio, visit the neighborhood, and the places Marlon used to go when he was a kid.

On the 9th, we’re heading toHidden Valley, where we’ll be able to relax before kicking off our series of “one-day trips”—that is, day trips or 3-day, 2-night package tours.

We’ll start withHundred Islandson Sunday, October 10, and then take aBanaueas part of a package tour. On the 13th, we’ll visitMount Pinatubo, then head down toSubic Bay(the formernavalbase of the U.S. military) on the 14th.

We’ll go on a wonderful package tour toPalawanin the south from the 15th to the 17th, then we’ll head toPuerto Galera, before returning to Makati (the metropolitan area of Manila) for a day.

From Monday the 22nd to the 24th, we’ll be inBohol, visiting itsnature reserveand its beautiful white-sand beaches.

From the 25th through the 1st, we’ll spend 6–7 days inBoracay(scuba diving, boat tours, and a Halloween party there). Then we’ll return to Manila and spend a day atVilla Escuderoto see its waterfalls, then head back to Laguna to prepare for the return trip.

Departure from Manila on Friday, November 5, at 1:05 a.m., arrival in Abu Dhabi at 6:05 a.m., with a layover of just under 3 hours. Departure from Abu Dhabi at 9:00 a.m., arrival in Zaventem at 1:20 p.m.
